a5c7b9f00b An exhilarating mix of dark comedy, white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, Gringo joyrides into Mexico, where mild-mannered businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) finds himself at the mercy of his back-stabbing business colleagues back home, local drug lords and a morally conflicted black-ops mercenary. Crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal, Harold battles to survive his increasingly dangerous situation in ways that raise the question: Is he out of his depth - or two steps ahead? GRINGO, a dark comedy mixed with white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue, explores the battle of survival for businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) when he finds himself crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal. While you sort of know how it's going to work out it's a fun ride to see how you get there. Charlize was amazing. Entertaining and fun! I think a lot of the reviewers here while they know movies, don't have a very good sense of humor. Read the review by "scattershooting" to get the gist of the movie. I just want to add, that while I don't disagree with the review, I want to encourage you to see the film. it is well written and acted and you'll have a good time. it's a movie after all. it's not a sin to aim too high. A sometimes amusing, sometimes draggy and overstuffed affair that always relies on its talent-rich cast to carry the day.
